Steel bar stools are found in a shiny, polished finish, a brushed finish, and in colors. Either painted to whatever color you like, or sometimes done in a powder coated finish for a hard, durable finish that will last for years. Wrought iron will generally be black.

Because breakfast bars are typically about 30" high, you'll want to try to find stools that are around 20" tall.  This will not be difficult.
